| COACH BURTON: "Bron Groomes was going great until he got
hurt (severed tendons on pinky finger in a non-basketball-related incident).
I’m majorly disappointed for him and for us. Our main concern is to get his
finger healed and try to get him back here as soon as we can."

Early in the season he was featured in the offense but then focused on defense

from his ankle injury... Came off the bench to hit 6 of 7 shots on his way
to a season-high 16 points including 10 of the team's 25 in the first half...
Had 13 points and a season-high 11 rebounds in home win over Idaho on Feb.
22, playing 41 minutes.

at San Bernardino Valley College in 2001-02... Team advanced to the state Sweet
