TITANS `06: Started 2006 as one of the three weekend starters, but pitched just six innings in four appearances • Went 0-1 on the mound before becoming the primary right fielder after his Feb. 19 loss to UC Irvine • Hit .277 in 56 games played, setting career highs in most offensive categories • Posted a career-best, six-game hitting streak from April 14 to Apr. 23 going 6-for-17 (.353) • Had 11 multi-hit games including a pair of games in which he collected three hits (Mar. 5 at Rice and Apr. 7 at UC Irvine) • Was named Big West Player of the Week on Mar. 6 mostly due to his 3-for-4 performance at Rice on Mar. 5 ( two home runs, a double, a career-high six RBI, and three runs scored) • Hit the Titans' only grand slam in 2006, blasting one off Joey Centanni, the first at Pacific's new Klein Family Field on Apr. 22 • Posted six multi-RBI games • Made just two errors in the outfield in 69 chances • Hit a go-ahead, three-run home run off eventual national player of the year Andrew Miller at Rosenblatt Stadium in the College World Series in the Titans' eventual 7-5, 13-inning loss to North Carolina.
