| Junior outfielder expected to lead the Cardinal offense this year. A Preseason Third Team All-American, Taylor can do it all on the baseball field. Last season, he hit .325 with 15 doubles, five home runs, and 39 RBI starting all 60 games in right field. He should return to right field this year and will continue to bat in the middle of the order. An improved player both offensively and defensively, Taylor is poised to become one of the top outfielders in the country. In addition to a high batting average, the power numbers should increase for the supersized slugger. Hit four of his five home runs last year in the final month and then smacked five more long balls over the summer in the Cape. With a big year, has a chance to be taken in the first few rounds of the MLB draft this June. |
