The Titans have signed an additional guard for the 2009-10 season.
Devon Peltier – (5’ 11” / 170 # / Combo Guard / Missouri State – West Plains): Peltier averaged 17.0 points, 1.35 assists and 2.5 rebounds last season for the Grizzlies. A native of St. Thomas , Virgin Islands , Thomas is nicknamed “V.I.” for his heritage. Peltier was named to the NJCAA Region 16 All-Region Team last season as a sophomore. He shot .509 from the field, .457 from behind the 3-point arc, and .869 from the charity stripe. Peltier will have two years of eligibility with the Titans.
Listed below is a tentative roster for next season based upon the information that I have gleaned. Academic and other factors will naturally factor in between now and August. Our roster will obviously not be in stone until school starts.
Before you do the math, I have listed 12 scholarship players. An additional scholarship is being held for a potential D-1 transfer who would have to redshirt in 2009-10. I have also highlighted in blue three individuals who are expected to walk on next season.
