"We are really excited to go play at Wright State," said Titans' Head Coach
Bob Burton. "We look forward to the opportunity to have some national television
exposure this season and hope we will do a great job of representing Cal State
Fullerton and the Big West Conference.
"We know it will be a difficult place to play. We're just proud of our team
for putting itself in a position to get a televised game."
The Raiders take a 14-8 record into a game tonight at Wisconsin-Green Bay.
They are 7-2 in the Horizon League and trail only nationally ranked Butler in
the league standings. They feature 5-foot-11 senior guard Dashaun Wood, who
averages 19 points and 3.6 assists per game.
The other seven Big West Conference schools will learn their Bracket Buster
schedules tomorrow. Cal Poly, Cal State Northrige, Long Beach State and UC Santa
Barbara will be home teams while UCI, UCR and Pacific will join the Titans as
road teams.
As part of the format, Wright State must play a non-conference game next Fall
in Titan Gym.
