Sixth Annual Scrimmage, BBQ on Oct. 28

Cal State Fullerton's men's and women's basketball teams will each hold a public-invited Blue-White Scrimmage and BBQ on Saturday, Oct. 28, in Titan Gym to help prepare for their respective 2006-07 seasons.

The men's event, the sixth annual, will begin with an intrasquad scrimmage at 10 a.m. to be followed by a buffet luncheon where fans can mingle with Coach Bob Burton and his staff and players. The women's event will begin at noon and also be followed by a buffet luncheon involving Coach Maryalyce Jeremiah and her staff and players.

Practices for both teams began on Oct. 13. The men play their first game on Nov. 10, hosting California Maritime Academy, while the women debut on Nov. 11 at San Jose State.
