Center John Underwood, a 6-foot-9 transfer from the University of Missouri, has won a hardship appeal to the NCAA and will be eligible to play at Cal State Fullerton this season. He has two years of eligibility remaining and could see action as soon as tonight's home exhibition vs. Cal State Los Angeles.

John Underwood played in only four games for the Tigers last season before leaving school to return to his home in Phoenix for family matters.  As a freshman in 2009-10 he played minimal minutes in 14 games.

Underwood joins 6-foot-9 Salt Lake City Community College  transfer Bernard Webb to give the Titans an inside presence for two seasons to go with a formidable perimeter game.  The Titans return three starters and three other lettermen from last year's team and they are augmented by eligible Div. I transfers Omondi Amoke and D. J. Seeley from Cal and Kwame Vaughn from San Francisco.  Amoke (shoulder) and Seeley (leg) are sidelined another week or two due to injuries.
